Faculty Professor Associate - Full-Time

CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY

The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member for a clinical position at the rank of Associate Professor, appointment stream.

This position is open to applicants who hold doctoral-level education (MD or DO) and are eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania. Applicants must be ABTS board eligible/certified and must have completed a general thoracic track cardiothoracic residency program or have concentrated experience in minimally invasive thoracic surgery. The candidate must demonstrate significant interest and ability in clinical care and teaching. An established track record and interest in designing and pursuing innovative research studies are optimal.
