We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing private physical therapy practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessment, manual therapy and exercise prescription treating patients with orthopedic and sports injuries with a personal touch. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with your patients in a one-on-one environment to develop personalized treatment plans and provide hands-on care to facilitate recovery.
Responsibilities:

Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions.
- Use standardized tests and clinical observations to assess patients' impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.
- Interpret evaluation findings to establish appropriate treatment goals and plans.

Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs, goals, and medical history.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and endurance.
- Monitor patients' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Education and Counseling:
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for self-management and injury prevention.
- Provide guidance on proper body mechanics, exercises, and activities of daily living to promote functional independence and prevent re-injury.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Professional Development:
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques, research, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities, workshops, and professional conferences to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others achieve their rehabilitation goals.
