Administrative Assistant

The Urban Nexus Lab (https://ramaswami.princeton.edu/) at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in conjunction with the Metropolis Initiative (https://metro.princeton.edu/) is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide writing, basic data entry, and event logistics support during the academic year. The individual will provide writing support to Dr. Anu Ramaswami (e.g., taking dictation, converting voice memos to text), conduct basic data entry tasks related to various topics in the US and internationally for the Urban Nexus Lab, and assist with events related to the Metropolis Initiative. The position is a 50%, 12-month position.

Writing support (50%)
Providing writing support for Dr. Ramaswami. This typically entails taking dictation from Dr. Anu Ramaswami and converting voice memos to text. This position entails limited to no independent writing.

Data entry (30%)
Survey data entry; storing and preparing documentation for data (e.g., data entry codebook); file management (on google drive).

Event management (20%)
Helping plan and manage lab and Metropolis Initiative events (e.g., guest lectures, workshops, presentations); handle printing and digital distribution of documents relating to events; organize catering for receptions, presentations, workshops, and colloquia, including pre- and post-event preparation and cleanup.
