Position: School Audiologist (100%)
Division: Special Education
Location: Cortland, Madison, and Onondaga Counties
Duties: Evaluating and understanding the effects that hearing loss and auditory processing deficits can have on communication, academic performance, and psycho-social development and the ability to make recommendations to address these problems. Selecting and fitting of hearing assistance technology. Ensure hearing assistance technology is working properly and provide training and support to students and school personnel on its use, limitations, and troubleshooting techniques as well as performing validation measures. Must understand current hearing aid and cochlear implant technologies.
Qualifications: New York State Licensure as a School Audiologist and Hearing Aide Dispenser required.
Salary: In accordance with OCMBFT salary schedule. Credit will be given for experience and educational preparation.
