Marketing Coordinator - Litigation
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Marketing Coordinator to support our litigation practice. Through routine engagement with lawyers and professional staff at all levels, this position offers the opportunity to gain experience, make connections, and learn the substance of a litigation practice at an Am Law Top 10 firm.
The Marketing Coordinator will support the implementation of the practice's strategic marketing and communications plans and take on projects of increasing complexity as knowledge of the practice develops. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and detail-oriented, be a strong writer who is able to draft and synthesize content into compelling messages, have outstanding organizational skills, and remain flexible with work schedule. The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills, sound professional judgment, and demonstrated maturity and professionalism. He or she must be able to build relationships and trust with a wide range of individuals with diverse styles and high standards.
Based in either New York or Philadelphia, this position offers a flexible, hybrid in-office/remote working arrangement.
Key responsibilities include:

Drafts and coordinates accolade submissions and award nominations.

Drafts internal and external communications and marketing collateral, including practice group newsletters.

Plans and executes seminar/event/webinar activities for the practice group nationally.

Drafts and coordinates pitches, RFP responses, and presentations under the direction of lawyers and marketing team colleagues.

Develops and maintains mailing lists, contact lists, and client profiles using the firm's CRM, InterAction.

Develops speaking and authorship opportunities with professional and trade organizations.

Collaborates with other marketing, communications, and graphics team members.
Experience and qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience including creating and preparing marketing collateral, pitch proposals, presentations, and RFP responses; preparing award submissions; and coordinating events. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Law firm or other professional services industry experience strongly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, familiarity using a CRM system, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams, and the ability to adapt to new software programs and platforms.

For positions in NY, the salary range for this job posting is $61,639.00 - $98,622.25.
The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
