Job Summary/Basic Function
Join the Enrollment Technical Services team to test computer upgrades, test new programs and write complex reports running against relational databases for statistical reporting and problem solving. Assist with reviewing upgrade documentation, summarizing, and testing. Provide in-depth research and reports to support the offices in Enrollment Services including Admissions, Financial Aid, and MT One Stop as well as Records and Student Affairs. Understand and use Banner, BDM Scanning, Dynamic Forms, and reporting tools such as iSQL, Argos, and Microsoft Access.
Serve as a primary resource to provide training, answer questions and resolve issues related to the Banner Student System. Identify problems, develop a process to correct, and create reports to proactively identify. Assist staff on aborts and provide error resolutions. Complete data cleanup and report enrollment to the National Student Clearinghouse; assisting with census and end of term reporting to THEC, etc. Search for and implement automated solutions for Enrollment Services to eliminate manual processes where possible. Write ad hoc reports and create electronic transactions to update Banner as requested and perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree.
Required Related Experience
Two (2) years progressively responsible experience with computer systems in a service environment, university enrollment management related office or related area required.
Desirable Related Experience
Three (3) years progressively responsible experience with computer systems in a service environment, university enrollment management related office or related area preferred
