Marketing Campaign Manager - Remote
McClatchy is looking for a versatile marketing expert who will be responsible for the strategic implementation and execution of marketing campaigns that support our revenue marketing efforts including B2B outreach, business transformation efforts, advertising lead generation and more. The ideal candidate will sit in a cross-functional role supporting our Director of Revenue Marketing & Operations as well as our other marketing leaders focused on consumer, brand and acquisition/retention efforts.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Marketing Campaign Manager will be the go-to resource for paid and non-paid advertising campaign projects that propel the company forward by maximizing revenue opportunities. Supported by partners internally and externally, this role will be able to direct marketing initiatives and execute advertising campaigns, and beyond.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with marketing leaders and others throughout the company to develop marketing plans and advertising strategies that drive leads and impact revenue and then own their implementation from ideation to execution
- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid channels to drive results via content coordination, social media, lead generation campaigns, campaign performance management and more
- Collaborate with internal cross divisional team members to monitor, optimize and enhance marketing and advertising campaigns for optimal performance.
- Build strategic relationships and partner with key stakeholders, agencies and vendors
- Oversee and approve marketing materials, from website content, blogs, newsletters and more, content partner production and moreAid in the measure and reporting related to performance of marketing campaigns in order to gain insights and assess goals
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or the equivalent education, experience, skills and knowledge needed to do the job
- Two- four years related digital marketing experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creativity and strategic skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic ability to generate new marketing concepts with the coordination skills to execute plans from start to finish.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works remotely engaging on video conference calls where the noise level is usually moderate.
