The City of LaFayette is seeking a Water Plant Trainee. The successful candidate should possess a High School Diploma or GED. The successful candidate will train at the Water Plant Monday – Friday, attend required classes, study and pass the State Grade IV Water Exam to become a Certified Grade IV Water Plant Operator.
The person selected will need to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check, and shall have a valid driver's license. Any questions should be directed to Water Plant Superintendent Sabrina Chatmon at 334-864-9363. The position is open until filled.
