Clinical Educator
Job Description
Under the supervision of the BMC Academy Director, the Clinical Educator will coordinate and provide staff development activities including in-services and continuing education; facilitate groups and process improvement initiatives based upon identified needs; and assist with the orientation of all medical center personnel. This position has no first‑line supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field or ASN with 2 years experience as a clinical program educator. Will complete Bachelor degree within established time frame. 5 years clinical experience. Current IA RN license. Competent in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point). Willingness to pursue ongoing traditional and non-traditional educational / training opportunities. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments/projects. Self-directed and requires minimal supervision in fulfilling the job requirements. Ability to consistently meet the department work schedule as designated. Ability to exhibit and teach basic computer skills. Ability to work collaboratively with others. Demonstrated experience in adult education and training with the ability to make presentations to large groups of people.
