Job Description Summary:
The Assistant Professor in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences will develop curriculum and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Sustainable Biomaterials and Packaging, such as Frontiers on Sustainable materials, Biopolymers chemistry, and Colloidal Chemistry and Interfaces; Develop and maintain an extramurally funded and nationally-competitive research program with an emphasis on the development of value-added products for biomass; Engage in undergraduate and graduate advising; Serve on departmental, college-level and/or university-wide committees.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Forest Biomaterials, Bioenergy, Forest Products or Related Degree relevant to Forest Biomaterials and Energy at the time employment begins.
The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
