Responsibilities: - Collaborate with healthcare professionals in providing assistance tailored to residents' needs - Support residents by preparing meals and ensuring their dietary preferences are honored - Engage residents in enjoyable social activities, fostering connections and companionship - Assist residents with cognitive challenges, offering patience and understanding - Complete light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and tidy living space - Provide mobility assistance as necessary to promote independence among residents - Document all care activities meticulously using electronic health records - Respond promptly to emergencies, offering first aid when needed. Experience: - Experience in caregiving or a related field is advantageous - Knowledge of healthcare best practices and procedures - A valid driver’s license may be needed for transporting residents - Familiarity with dementia care strategies is highly desirable - Excellent communication skills are essential for effective interaction with residents and families.
